MICAH CARONNA
Senior Pastor

I have been a part of the Living Word Staff since 1996. I am the Senior Pastor here along with my wife Melissa. I love movies, making them and watching them. I also love backpacking, being outdoors, reading, and learning.

MELISSA CARONNA
Senior Pastor

I became a part of the Living Word Family Church staff in 1996 and I am currently the senior pastor along with my husband Micah, who is the family life pastor and oversees film projects. I love being a mom and seeing my son loving life and achieving his goals. I enjoy helping, guiding, and cheering people and families on while they achieve and grow in the things God has called them to do. I love seeing children and students having fun while learning and growing. I love Thanksgiving, Easter, and Disney. I enjoy creating stained glass, folk art, and creating costuming for productions.

JODY MITCHELL
Creative Content Coordinator/ Director for Living Word Studios

I have attended LWFC since 2005, and have been on staff since March 2007. In my current position I serve as the Creative Content Coordinator helping with sermon and series development, and am a Director for Living Word Studios. I also oversee local outreach in connection with our outreach partner, The Raleigh Dream Center, and global missions.

I enjoy movies and acting, both on stage and in film. (Braveheart, Tombstone, Good Will Hunting, The Jerk, and most superhero movies are among my favorites). I love my wife and children, a good brisket, and seeing Dads becoming the leader of their families that God has called them to be.

KENDALL HONEYCUTT
Service Experience Pastor

I’ve been part of LWFC since 2010 and joined the staff in 2016. I have the joy of leading and serving alongside our worship bands during rehearsals and services, as well as overseeing Growth Track and our Service Experience Staff. Outside of church life, I love hanging out with my husband and three kids. The beach is my happy place, and I can never resist an iced coffee, a little shopping, and enjoying a delicious meal!

TAMMY QUEEN
Executive Administrative Assistant

I’ve been a part of the Living Word Family since 2000 and I've been on staff since March 2002. I provide administrative support for the Sr. Pastor and the Service Experience team. I love traveling the world, missions, & being close to the water (beach or lake).

JAMIE TOBLER
Media Arts Pastor

I've been a part of Living Word since 2001. I help create an atmosphere and amplify the message through video, sound, lighting, and online. I have 4 kids, 4 animals, and 1 wife. I experiment with music, and always look for something new to learn.

BRAD HONEYCUTT
Financial Director/Office Manager

I have been a part of LWFC since 2010 and have been on staff since 2012. I work with the lead pastors and management teams to resource and manage the finances of LWFC. I love spending quality time with my family, enjoy automobiles, & traveling.

HAZEL ADEKUNLE
Central Services Director

I joined the Living Word family in 2016 as a volunteer and started working on staff in 2018 during our first Building Upgrade project. I oversee core areas that support all departments (including Project Management, Data and Logistics, Promo and Communications) and develop systems and processes that help the staff accomplish ministry goals. Hailing from Trinidad and Tobago, I love warm weather, hiking, trips to the beach, good food, and all things design and organization.

BRANDON BAKER
Administrative Assistant

My family started attending Living Word via live-stream during the pandemic. We joined the church officially in 2023. I joined the church staff in June of 2023. My wife and I worked with the studios team on Amazing Gracie and Ordinary Things.  Currently I use my experience in construction and project management to provide support in the areas of Facilities, Meetups and Guest Services. I’ve been married to my best friend since 2006. We have a wonderful teenage daughter and an orange tabby cat. I enjoy all things nerdy and love that I get to use my talents for God’s ministry.

WANDA METZINGER
Executive Administrative Assistant

I started attending and volunteering at Living Word in January 2009 and have been on staff since March 2012. I provide administrative support for the Children's Ministry as well as Congregational and Staff Care. I'm an eclectic, simple-living Yaya who enjoys thrifting, repurposing, preserving, and creative vegan cooking, and I treasure every moment with my grandbabies.

EURISSA MAIQUILLA-FERNANDEZ
Virtual Assistant

I have worked for LWFC since 2013. I provide administrative support for the Central Services Dept that includes Promo and Communications, Data and Logistics as well as Project Management. I love to watch blogs about food and later on experiment with a better version of it.

PASTOR STEVE CARONNA
Director of Meetups, Facilities and Guest Services

My wife Connie and I served as senior pastors of Living Word for 24 years. I’m now serving as the Director of Meetups, Facilities and Guest Services. I enjoy writing, fly fishing, and classical music.

JOSIAH CARONNA
Youth Director

I’ve been a part of Family Church since I was very young, and I now have the privilege of pouring into the youth on a weekly basis. One of the greatest joys of my life is seeing a student walk in the freedom of knowing who they are in Christ. I come alive adventuring into the unknowns of life knowing God has my hand every step I take.
