God has made it clear that the church should be out in the local and global community to help them in their time of need. Living Word is dedicated to seeing people get out of poverty, see crime rate go down, test scores go up, the oppressed set free, and people being healed physically and spiritually. Whatever it takes to truly help and make a difference in our community.
 New Believers Ministry
This is what it is all about; people knowing God and deciding to follow Him with their whole lives. Our responsibility is to teach and train you in this amazing new beginning! Every first Sunday of the month we have our baptism service for all new and recommitted believers. Join the Starting Point Connect Group which is designed to teach the foundation of your new adventure with God and His church. All this is to help you know God and to make Him known!

We don’t have to travel half way around the world to preach the gospel. God has put us here in the Raleigh/Wake Forest area to reach out to our neighbors. We are accomplishing this by providing help and support to people in our community. Whether it is Christmas gifts to families in need or sending supplies to soldiers oversees, we are making an impact.
